Welcome to the 4th year of our new look Pram Race. We already have 14 teams signed up for 2017 but it’s not too late for you to join in the fun.

Over the last three years you have raised more than £13,000 for local good causes and we are looking forward to helping two local charities this year.

MOMENTUM supports local families who have a child with cancer or who is life-limited; over half of whom are being treated at Kingston Hospital. They also support bereaved families, who have suffered the death of their child. The support from the Pram Race will specifically support Teddington children and families.
Momentum does not receive any government funding and so donations from local organisations and events are important in helping them to continue their work. They have already started work on their pram: “Team Mo!”

We also supporting the TEDDINGTON800 1217-2017 appeal. This celebrates Teddington having been a parish for 800 years. We will be donating a proportion of Pram Race funds to build an essential extension to our historic (St Mary with St Alban’s) church. The extension will house a toilet and a kitchenette which will enable the church to be used as an additional community resource as the Church Hall in Langham Road is already fully utilised on most days. The Vicar’s pram team will be the very special “Beer on a Bier”.

Once again the Mayor of Richmond will be handing out the prizes and I’ll see you all at the Pram Race Beer Tent which once again is sponsored by our friends at SAMBROOKS BREWERY Logo
